England & Wales: 0.26 W/m²K is U-value used for Notional
Building wall.
This U-value or better is recommended for compliance and are
marked in bold.
Scotland: 0.27 W/m²K is U-value used for Notional Building wall.
This U-value or
better is recommended for compliance and are marked #.
Northern Ireland: 0.37 W/m²K is U-value used for Notional
Building wall. This
U-value or better is recommended for compliance and are
highlighted in grey.
Republic of Ireland: The recommended wall U-values are dependent
on the
method chosen:
Overall Heat Loss Method ≤ 0.37 W/m²K
Elemental Heat Loss Method ≤ 0.27 W/m²K
^ Panel weight only.
Available Lengths
Standard lengths 1.8 to 17 metres. Panels less than 1.8m long
can be supplied and are subject to an additional charge. These
panels cannot be end lapped.
Substrate
Standard external and internal sheets are hot-dipped
zinc/aluminium coated metal to BS EN 10326: 2004 (Continuously
hot-dip coated strip and sheet of structural steels. Technical
delivery conditions) and BS EN 10327: 2004 (Continuously hot-dip
coated strip and sheet of low carbon steels for cold forming.
Technical delivery conditions).
Coatings - External Weather Sheet
- Spectrum: Nominal 60 micron thick natural colour polyurethane
semi-gloss coating.
Please contact the Kingspan Quotations Department for lead
times.
Coatings - Internal Liner Sheet
- Bright White Polyester: Coating developed for use as the
internal lining of insulated panels. Standard colour is 'bright
white' with an easy clean surface
- Aquasafe: Coating used in areas where there is high internal
humidity, or a corrosive environment
- Cleansafe: A chemically inert polymer film bonded to metal
substrate for cladding of cold stores, food processing buildings
and other hygiene applications
- Reverse side of sheet coated with a light grey polyester
coating
- The sheet is available in either plain or stucco embossed
finish
Panel Features
Unique detailing is available for the Curvewall insulated
panels: Pre-formed mitred corners are available for horizontally or
vertically laid panels. They consist of mitred cut panel edges
which are factory bonded and can be used for internal and external
corners. Standard panel lengths will vary, please contact the
Benchmark Technical Services for details.
A fin feature (folded vertical fin flashing) can be installed at
the vertical joint between horizontally laid panels. Available in
Spectrum coatings, and 2mm PPC Aluminium.
The fin is fabricated with PIR insulation and an internal air
seal gasket, ensuring airtightness and insulation properties are
maintained.
A variety of corner and tophat features are also available. For
more information on the features range, please contact Benchmark
Technical Services Department.

Note: The U-values for Curve DW have been calculated taking
the external profiles into account to illustrate the additional
thermal benefits. These U-values can be used where the full
elevation is Curve DW. Where its used in conjunction with
Evolution, Louvre DW, Render DW or the Benchmark Karrier
Panel, the U-value application for these products should be used
instead.
Acoustics
All Curvewall panels have a predicted single-figure weighted
sound reduction Rw = 24dB.
Site assembly instructions are available from the Benchmark
Technical Services Department.
All of the Benchmark Roof, Wall & Façade Systems are
available with the Total Benchmark Guarantee, offering thermal and
structural performance guarantee. Please contact the Benchmark
Technical Service Department for further information.
Panels are FIREsafe approved by the Loss Prevention
Certification Board (LPCB) to LPS 1181 Grade EXT-B.
The external and internal faces of the panels are Class 0 in
accordance with the Building Regulations when tested to BS 476-6:
1989 (Fire propagation for products) and BS 476-7: 1997 (Surface
spread of flame of products) and have a European fire
classification of B-s2, d0.
