U-values calculated to comply with 2010 Building
Regulations:
-Building Regulations Approved Documents-Part L2A, L2B England
& Wales.

England & Wales: 0.26 W/m²K is U-value used for Notional
Building wall.
This U-value or better is recommended for compliance and are
marked in bold.
Scotland: 0.27 W/m²K is U-value used for Notional Building wall.
This U-value or
better is recommended for compliance and are marked #.
Northern Ireland: 0.37 W/m²K is U-value used for Notional
Building wall. This
U-value or better is recommended for compliance and are
highlighted in grey.
Republic of Ireland: The recommended wall U-values are dependent
on the
method chosen:
Overall Heat Loss Method ≤ 0.37 W/m²K
Elemental Heat Loss Method ≤ 0.27 W/m²K
* Panel weight only.
Available Lengths
Standard lengths 1.8 to 8 metres. Panel lengths up to 16 metres
are available. Panels less than 1.8m long can be supplied and are
subject to an additional charge. These panels cannot be end
lapped.
Substrate
Standard external and internal sheets are hot-dipped
zinc/aluminium coated metal to BS EN 10326: 2004 (Continuously
hot-dip coated strip and sheet of structural steels. Technical
delivery conditions) and BS EN 10327: 2004 (Continuously hot-dip
coated strip and sheet of low carbon steels for cold forming.
Technical delivery conditions).
Coatings - External Weather Sheet
Render Panel's external side coating consists of up to 3mm thick
100% acrylic polymer with stucco render finish (200 micron high
performance plastisol coating). Reverse side of sheet coated with a
light grey polyester coating.
Coatings - Internal Liner Sheet
- Bright White Polyester: Coating developed for use as the
internal lining of insulated panels. Standard colour is 'bright
white' with an easy clean surface.
- Kingspan Aquasafe: Coating used in areas where there is high
internal humidity, or a corrosive environment.
- Kingspan Cleansafe: A chemically inert polymer film bonded to
metal substrate for cladding of cold stores, food processing
buildings and other hygiene applications.
- Reverse side of sheet coated with a light grey polyester
coating.
- The sheet is available in either plain or stucco embossed
finish.

Acoustics
Panels have a predicted single-figure weighted sound reduction
Rw = 24dB.
All deliveries (unless indicated
otherwise) are by road transport to project site. Off-loading is
the responsibility of the cladding contractor or installer.
Site assembly instructions are available from the Benchmark
Technical Services Department.
All of the Benchmark Roof, Wall & Façade Systems are
available with the Total Benchmark Guarantee, offering thermal and
structural performance guarantee. Please contact the Benchmark
Technical Service Department for further information.
Panels are FIREsafe approved
by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) to LPS 1181
Grade EXT-B.
The internal face of the insulated
panel is Class 0 in accordance with the Building Regulations when
tested to BS 476-6: 1989 (Fire propagation for products) and BS
476-7: 1997 (Surface spread of flame of products). The external
rendered steel facing is Class 3 when tested to surface spread of
flame to BS476-7: 1987 (Surface spread of flame of products) and
have a European fire classification of B-s2, d0.
